Carnegie Hall Concert is an album by trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie recorded live in 1961 at Carnegie Hall, New York City and released on the Verve label. Lalo Schifrin and Leo Wright make this very enjoyable and most solo’s on trumpet are Clark Terry but Dizzy get his fill in’s also.. and one tune with Joe Carroll on “Ool-Ya-Koo” The 33 min’s goes quickly and leaving wanting just a little bit more of a good thing.. rick.
